Wanted: on-line editor / DI operator
Flow Postproduction is one of the leading facilities in Belgium. We offer a 360° service ranging from handling rushes, color grading in our cinema to visual effects and animation, working from a prime location in the city center of Antwerp.
Due to the increase of projects and their scale we are now looking for a full time on-line editor/DI operator. As an on-line editor, you are part of the backbone of our company. Everything that comes in and gets sent out will pass through your hands. Communication skills, precision and a technical background are essential to thrive in the epicenter of Flow.
Required skills:
- Have a good feel for aesthetics, cinematography and timing
- An exquisite eye for detail
- You’re a natural team player
- MacGyver can learn a lot from your problem solving skills
- Time management
- Good written and verbal communication
Nice to haves:
- Previous experience in the offline or online department
- Experience with some of our tools such as Baselight, Davinci Resolve, ShotGrid, Avid Media Composer, Premiere Pro, Easy DCP, …
- A great sense of humor
Your responsibilities:
- Transcoding and syncing of rushes
- Online conform of a wide range of audiovisual projects
- Pulling plates for the VFX team
- Assembling the finished VFX shots in the timeline
- Technical assistance to the different colorists
- Mastering and quality check of final deliverables
- Optimizing workflows and making sure deadlines are met
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies and thinking outside of the box
